This is the latest (main) stable release for current (v5.x) development cycle.
At the moment, I'm working on a deep refactor of the component so that any new feature (unless very minimal) should take place in the new release branch (v6.x).
Since the new releases could be more experimental than usual I'm now starting to use a more structured nomenclature where stable/beta releases should be relatively reliable (with beta just involving new features and less possible disruptions in existing code) while the use of the 'alpha' label in a release will mean it could possibly have a big impact in production environments reliability.
At any rate, incoming v6.x releases will have a detailed description of risks so this is just a reminder to keep reading release infos.
