Last alpha (maybe) before going into a definitive release.
This latest development stage brings in a lot for diagnostics of the software component and the device itself. Many features related to debug/diagnostic were already added through the whole Moonlight
development cycle and this further step add the option to create
'diagnostic sensors' for unknown features of the device (i.e. features which have no actual mapping or use in meross_lan
).
You'll find the options to configure all of the diagnostic settings by hitting the usual 'CONFIGURE' button in the integration page for the intended device/profile.
The diagnostic entities (already available for the profile configuration) will be added to HA and eventually removed (from the registry too so to not clutter it) when their configuration is disabled. They reproduce the plain value carried in the message protocol for those mesages not actively decoded by meross_lan
features
- create/remove diagnostic sensor entities reporting 'unmapped' values from messages/payloads from the device protocol.
- removed some legacy compatibility code for HA cores far back in the 2022 or so (actual 'guaranteed' compatibility starts from HA 2023.7)
- make the check (and consequent issue raising) about device timezone less strict
- automatically switch the thermostat (any mts) out of schedule mode when manually setting the target temperature (#369)
