PS5 UltraPack 2.2.10
German interface
The app now speaks German as well as English. Pick it under Settings › General › Interface › Language and restart the app. Menus, the queue, the job details, Add job, every Settings page, Organize, Look inside and all messages switch over. The log stays English, so it reads the same in a bug report.
.pkg files work without Homebrew
On a Mac without Homebrew's OpenSSL, building or unpacking a .pkg stopped with "loading libcrypto in an unsafe way". The package tool needs OpenSSL for part of the .pkg encryption and fell back to the system's copy, which macOS refuses. The app now brings its own OpenSSL, so it no longer depends on what is installed. I tested it with Homebrew hidden from the app. Thanks to @IvanCaregnato for reporting this in #7.
Also new
- On a macOS that is too old, Finder now says which version the app needs instead of the app silently not starting.
Runs on every Apple Silicon Mac with macOS 26 or newer (a free update for every M1 or later Mac). On an older macOS you can run it from source, see the README.
