PS5 UltraPack 2.1.1
Highlights
- After the job. Each job can keep its source, move it to the Trash, move it to a folder you pick, or delete it once it is done. Settings holds the default, Add job sets it per job. When a download sits in its own folder, the whole folder goes along, notes and pictures included, and no empty folders stay behind.
- Pause after the running job. Start, Pause and Stop share one control in the queue header. Pause lets the running job finish and holds the queue before the next one. Stop cancels at once.
- Backport files through Integrate a patch. Ready-made backport archives (.zip or .rar) go straight into a job. Every file the patch replaces stays next to the finished file, with a README that lists what changed. A patch for another game is refused.
- Notifications, sleep and quit. A banner per job or at the end of the queue. Once the queue is through, the Mac can sleep or the app can quit, after a 30-second countdown you can cancel.
- Several jobs at once. ⌘-click and Shift-click select several jobs, and Remove takes them all out.
Also new
- A job checks its output when it is due. If the output is already there, the job takes care of its source and counts as done.
- An archive is read again right before its job runs, so a set that was still downloading when you added it gets its real size, and an incomplete set is never unpacked halfway.
- A copy job keeps its source. Organize moves files on one drive and copies them across drives.
- OS clutter such as .DS_Store and ._ files is never unpacked, copied, moved along or packed.
- Copy jobs show their real progress, every waiting job carries the same Queued badge, and the line under each job names its source the same way.
- Integrating a patch works with the temp folder on an exFAT drive.
