New Feature: StemDock Quick Entity Dashboard
A fullscreen floating panel that holds up to 6 smart home devices. See their status at a glance and control them with a single tap.
Where to find it
Display -> Quick Entity Panel -> Turn on the main switch -> Add device IDs at the bottom.
You can also enable the "HA Slot Configuration" sub-switch and fill in device IDs directly from Home Assistant.
How to use
Tap = Toggle device
Long press and drag = Rearrange cards
Long press empty area = Hide the panel
Auto layout
1 to 6 devices automatically arrange into a matching grid. Works in both portrait and landscape.
Colors and icons
Each device gets a soft color from 22 available tones. Lights always use warm yellow.
Icons are auto-matched by device name, or you can pick a color manually with the color wheel.
Device names are automatically fetched from Home Assistant.
Sensor display
Temperature, humidity and other values update in real time. Up to 2 decimal places, units are fetched automatically.
HA-side configuration
After enabling "HA Slot Configuration", 6 text input entities will appear in Home Assistant (ava_quick_entity_slot_1 through 6). Just fill in a device ID.
Clear all slots and the panel turns off automatically. Fill in any one and it turns on.
