Highlight: Qwen LiveTranslate
Qwen LiveTranslate, with your own key. Qwen3.8 simultaneous interpretation in 60 languages, 29 of them spoken, with a key from QwenCloud (international) or 千问云 (mainland China). It can speak each translation in a clone of the speaker's own voice, and Preferred Translations steer how names and terms come out. (#627)
Pick it in the provider list and paste your key; it works in the desktop app and the extension. The extension asks for two new permissions for it, and Chrome pauses the extension until you accept.
Improvements
- Soniox and KizunaAI now sign in the way Soniox requires from 15 January 2027; update before then to keep them working. (#631)
- Wording: the setup card for a two-way online conversation now says you can also hear the other side's translation. (#629)
Fixes
- Linux: "Failed to list application audio sources" no longer appears while other apps start or stop, and Sokuji no longer removes its virtual microphone in a loop when its console output is closed. (#630)
