- Share live captions on your local network (desktop app): turn sharing on from the conversation toolbar, and anyone on the same network scans a QR code to read the captions and translations on their own phone or laptop. No app, no sign-in, and the captions go straight from your computer to theirs. There is no access code yet (#556, #597).
Improvements
- A microphone that goes away no longer ends the session: Sokuji moves to another microphone or waits for one, and switches back when yours returns (#593, #596).
- Audio devices you plug in or remove show up without pressing refresh (#596).
- Notices have one place each: a status line above the controls says why Start is unavailable or what needs attention, events are a short line in the conversation, and audio and update messages share one banner. The pop-up toasts are gone (#481, #598).
Fixes
- macOS: after Repair, the virtual microphone works without restarting Sokuji (#596).
- A failed update download no longer disappears silently; Download tries again (#598).
