What's new in v0.27.0
A classroom release. All three features came out of the same Youth Night School English-learning group running Sokuji on a projector — credit to Ray Chow for reporting #229, #230, and #231.
🎉 Doubao AST 2.0 Chinese↔English bidirectional mode
Pick Chinese-English Bidirectional (zh↔en) as the language and Doubao AST 2.0 auto-detects which side is being spoken: Chinese in → English out, English in → Chinese out. No need to know which language the speaker will use next.
How to use: select Doubao AST 2.0 as the provider, then pick 中英双语 (zh↔en) on either the source or target language picker — the other side is set automatically.
🎉 More conversation colors and a custom color picker
Click the ⚙ Display settings button on the conversation toolbar to open the new color palette. More high-contrast presets for source text, translation text, and their backgrounds, plus a "+" chip on every row that opens a custom color picker for any color you want.
How to use: ⚙ on the conversation toolbar → pick a preset, or click "+" to open the custom color picker.
✨ Larger conversation and subtitle fonts
The font-size cap is raised to 64 px in both the conversation panel and the subtitle bar — readable from the back of a classroom on a projector.
How to use: the same font-size buttons in the conversation toolbar and subtitle bar, now with more headroom.
