Changes:
- Streaming video can now be mined using a synchronous workflow. Implemented a keyboard shortcut (Ctrl+Shift+X by default) for synced streaming video that copies the current subtitle and opens the Anki dialog within the same tab as the synced video.
- Fixed a bug where keyboard shortcuts were being bound even if there are no synced video elements on the page.
- Default asbplayer URL used to open a new asbplayer tab when dragging-and-dropping subtitles into video elements is now configurable from the extension popup.
Installation steps:
- Download the zip, unzip it somewhere.
- Go to chrome://extensions and enable developer mode in the top right.
- If you have a previous version of the extension installed, delete it first.
- Click "load unpacked extension" and pick the unzipped directory.
- Refresh any tabs where you intend to use the extension.
Usage:
- Enable the extension.
- Drag and drop a subtitle file into a video element to sync it with asbplayer.
Or, after loading a subtitle file, detected tabs can be found by clicking the "video camera" icon in the bottom right. Choosing a tab will sync asbplayer with that video. - Clicking on the extension in the Chrome toolbar will open the options/help page.
