Whatsie 6.1.1

A maintenance release: reliable theming on Linux, self-healing reconnect after sleep, and a couple of smaller fixes.

What's new

  • Theme follows the desktop reliably on Linux. Whatsie now reads the light/dark preference from the desktop portal instead of trusting a value that Qt reports incorrectly on some setups. It no longer starts in light on a dark system, and no longer reverts to light after resuming from sleep. (#367, #374)
  • Reconnects on its own after sleep. If the network is briefly down when you resume, Whatsie keeps retrying and comes back on its own instead of getting stuck on the "You appear to be offline" page. (#370)
  • All spell-check dictionaries are listed. The language list in Settings now shows every bundled dictionary, not just the first few. (#369)
  • Channel and share-text links. whatsapp.com/channel/… (and whatsapp://channel/…) links now open the channel preview in the app, and a share link carrying only text (no phone number) is handled. (#367)
