• Harden image-preview readiness: validate image references in actual string values rather than JSON object keys or escaped syntax; reject whitespace-only references. Apply the cloud shadow's sensitive-question skip to its A/B runner and recheck the opt-in immediately before sending after image preparation. Add six regression tests. Keep cloud image forwarding off by default.

• Add image support for TypeSafe's "Dreamer-ready" images preview: jevkit/images.py reads PNG/baseline-JPEG headers and refuses, before sending, anything the API would refuse (format, animation, progressive JPEG, size and pixel limits); client.ask(..., assets=...) sends images with the TypeSafe-Danger-Zone-Images header to TypeSafe only (images_unsupported elsewhere) and refuses unreferenced assets; new client.box() question with a validated {left, top, right, bottom} answer. Add a cloud half to the vision shadow (jevkit/cloud_vision.py, /jev vision_cloud shadow, kill switch VISION_CLOUD_OFF): TypeSafe Jev answers the same decision-shaped vision_analyze questions and logs beside Jev-Omni. Off by default and separate from /jev vision, because the picture leaves the machine; it never changes a tool result. JPEGs with a rotating EXIF orientation are refused (the API ignores it). Add scripts/live_images_check.py (one live request with a known answer) and scripts/vision_cloud_ab.py (accuracy and coverage per cut-off on labelled checks). Tested on real PIL/ImageMagick output, 40k fuzzed headers and a strict local HTTP stand-in. See docs/images.md.

• Guard the gate-ask red-team miss g031: moving the live Hermes config directory now asks a person via a local fact, before model inference. Regression covers the replay and benign neighboring moves; no threshold or fleet-switch change.

• Fix #46: read current Hermes session_model_usage when available, preserving model/provider, call and token totals, cache split, and subscription versus metered classification; retain the legacy messages fallback. State window and unknown-billing caveats explicitly. Thanks @vgarlu for the reproducible schema report.
