github kerpopule/hermes-jev-skills v0.22.2
0.22.2

Released by the daily Jev steward: 5 commit(s) on main since v0.22.1.

  • Installer: preserve the canonical shared skill directory and aliases instead of replacing its source with self-referencing symlinks; regression tests cover both destructive edge cases.

  • One copy of each skill on a machine: once Hermes is installed, Claude Code, Codex and ~/.agents skill folders get symlinks to <hermes root>/skills/jev/<skill> instead of their own copies, so all three read the same files; copies remain the fallback without Hermes or symlinks. Tests cover link, re-run and no-Hermes cases.

  • Field notes from a product review run on Jev (jev-browser-use, jev-frontier-work, jev-model-routing): verify a "goal reached" pick with a Noul over page text (labels-only observation over-claimed: 0.73 vs 0.07); persona browsing as a UX review; machine-wide text helper for typing in ~/.config/jev/browser.json (claude-cli provider uses the signed-in Claude Code CLI with no key; local servers need no key); citation-check a delegated report's file:line claims with not_enough first; script-file --run checks; --no-changes-expected for reviews; an escalate after a verified review that leaves a decision open goes to the person.

  • A field cap of 0 or 1 now caps: privacy.redact cut to text[:limit // 2] + … + text[-(limit // 2):], and with limit // 2 == 0 the tail slice is the whole text, so a field_limits entry of 0 or 1 sent the field in full. It now keeps no tail there.

Changes and fixes

  • fix(privacy): a redact cap of 0 or 1 no longer keeps the whole text (13573e9)
  • Share one copy of each skill across agents; field notes from a Jev product review (9340309)
  • jev-browser-use: machine-wide text helper config; local servers need no key (384a7b9)
  • jev-browser-use: claude-cli text helper (no key); config path honors XDG_CONFIG_HOME (3183e2e)
  • Preserve shared skill sources when installer targets their canonical path (0cd0a60)
