[0.12.1] - 2026-10-12
Packaging correction for the pinned rdprrap archive and OBS desktop-integration resources.
Packaging
- Packaging normalizers rewrote the pinned rdprrap ZIP metadata in 0.12.0 DEBs and OBS Fedora RPMs. Although its internal files were unchanged, OEM SHA256 verification rejected the archive, leaving the single-session fallback.
- The correction preserves the original opaque ZIP bytes and existing SHA256 pin; verification and security checks are not relaxed.
- The OBS SPEC is synchronized with the repository, including menu, icon, AppStream, and cleanup-helper resources at their FHS paths. SUSE packages require
hicolor-icon-themefor native icon-directory ownership. _serviceretains automaticmaintracking, and normal tag-triggered rebuild automation uses the existingOBS_TOKEN. Keepmainfrozen after tagging until OBS builds finish so the packaged source matches the approved release.- Application code and normal Windows-app/data payloads are unchanged; this correction adds no features or Windows usage rights.
Upgrade guidance
- Affected 0.12.0 DEB and OBS Fedora users should use corrected 0.12.1 packages once available. Installing a corrected host package alone does not repair an already-provisioned guest.
- No existing user data or live Windows VM has been patched. Existing 0.12.0 tags and release assets are preserved.
