Melodee 1.3.0 adds track and shared effects, one-pass recording, selectable USB capture, and optional autosaving.

• Effects: three inserts per track and a shared three-slot return with independent sends. Phaser, Width, Formant, Tape, Spit, Echo, Room, Reverb and Chorus save with projects and templates. Sound changes preserve the track's effects.
• Recording: arm before PLAY to record from step zero, or arm during playback to record at the next pattern start. Recording ends after one pass. While stopped and armed, the first key or MIDI note starts recording immediately, skipping count-in. SEQ > TEMPO > QNT quantizes only the new take when recording ends; OFF keeps played timing.
• Note editing: bulk deletion includes recorded notes. Pattern clearing removes manual notes, recorded notes and motion together.
• USB capture: stereo master capture is the default and includes track and shared effects. Hold HOME and choose USB INPUT > 4 TRACKS for isolated mono stems after track effects and level, before shared effects and master. Both modes support 16/24-bit audio at 44.1 kHz.
• Optional autosave: hold HOME and set AUTOSAVE to OFF to save projects manually. It defaults ON, remembers the choice across power-offs, and leaves manual SAVE available.
• Clock choice: OVERCLOCK in the HOME menu selects 320 MHz (default) or 360 MHz for the next start. A CPU fault at 360 MHz returns the device to 320 MHz.
• Installer: stable, next nightly and the separate synth-only firmware remain selectable, each with Standard and Single core variants.
• Compatibility: earlier Melodee project and template layouts load with their effect routing preserved. Back up before upgrading; older firmware may not reproduce the new effects and recording behavior.

Install with the web installer. Standard uses both cores. Choose Single core if your FM-1 crashes with Standard. Both release packages identify as FM-1_91030 and are built with MELODEE_RAM_AUDIO=1.

• Matching *-app.bin files, licence archive, BUILD_INFO.json and SHA256SUMS.

Validation: built from next at e971042d9eedd07af0abdd60abafeb0e3f939b9d. Both variants passed size, memory and audio-RAM build checks. The full host and web suite passed, including recording, effect chains, audio budgets, UI layout lint and LCD audits. The versioned release packages have not been auditioned on hardware.
