This release introduces the Toccata Hardfork, marking a major milestone described in KIP16, KIP17, KIP20, and KIP21, bringing native L1 covenant programming and infrastructure for based ZK applications to Kaspa. The hard fork is scheduled to activate on mainnet at DAA score 474,165,565, roughly on June 30, 2026, at 16:15 UTC.
Starting 24 hours before activation, nodes will connect only to peers using the new P2P protocol version 10. Ensure your node is updated to maintain network connectivity.
