Choosing where the manager keeps its data
- The first launch asks where to keep the library, backups, profiles and settings. It suggests
%LOCALAPPDATA%\PoPModManager. Any drive works, via the picker or a typed path. You can also move existing data viaSettings → Data location → Change…. It checks free space, copies and verifies everything, switches over, then removes the old copies. The destination must be an empty, dedicated folder: not a drive root, not inside or above the current one.

Video and Sound mods (JTMod v5–v7)
- v5: replace Video files (.bik, .int, .mp4, .png, .jpg), and add, replace or alias Sound banks in sound / soundlocal.
- v6: granular Sound bank patches, so several mods can change different events in the same bank.
- v7: zone audio, for example, which sound banks a level loads.
These updates are laying out the groundwork for the upcoming mods that update audio. - New settings section, "Optional mod assets": Apply Video replacements and Apply Sound bank changes, both on by default. Turning one off and applying restores the originals.
- Older managers refuse v5+ packages.
-
Mod Manager now supports jtmods that modify game logic and allows to append non-conflicting script changes across mods that touch the same .ofc.
-
Mods apply in load order now
- Overlapping mods no longer block Apply: where two change the same thing, the mod lower in the list wins. This works per record, so a mesh mod and a script mod in the same file both apply.
- Assets a mod adds are kept even when a later mod takes a record next to them. If two mods add the same asset, the later copy is used.
- A whole-file replacement goes to the last mod that touches the file. A clashing Video/Sound change goes to the later mod.
- A mod with nothing left after the mods below it is skipped and never loaded, which speeds up Apply. The result says which mods were skipped.
- UI: the conflict warning is replaced by a new note ("X replaces part of Y, the mod lower in the list wins"). Cards say "Partly replaced by …".

OpenJade setup
- OpenJade setup no longer copies
update/*.bf. It always uses the main game folder's .bf files. - On the update/ layout the main archive also becomes the port's backup, and "My current game assets" re-applies your mod selection to it during setup.
- New Add … Essential Fixes switch, on by default. Downloads my essential OpenJade data (.bf) fixes during installation.

Upgrade from the game's mod list
- A mod with a newer repository release shows Upgrade on its entry in the game list, with progress and Cancel, in both the full and compact views.
- It's offered only while Mod Repositories are on and the new release still supports that game type (Classic or OpenJade).

Fixed the Restore original action freezing the manager.
