Automated release: version and notes generated from pull requests merged since 2.12.0.
Fixed
look.pycontact-sheet timecodes match the frames shown. The sheet starts reading half a slice in (-ssbefore-i, so the first tile is not a black lead-in), which resets timestamps to 0 at that point: every burned-in label was half a slice early (an 8 s clip as 3x2 labelled a frame at 0.667 s00:00:00.000). The timecode now adds the seek back (%{pts:hms:<seek>}); a sheet that starts at 0 is unchanged.
Changed
docs/design-decisions.mdopens with a contents list (by topic, then by release), built from its headings by.github/scripts/design_decisions_index.py; a test fails when it is stale. Eleven sections that still said "Unreleased" long after they shipped (2.3.0 to 2.12.0) carry their version, and the release workflow now renames such a heading to the version that ships it, as it does for CHANGELOG.md.npm run test:fastruns the contract suite alone (a few minutes, no real encodes); CONTRIBUTING.md says how to run one test group or one case while working on a tool.- look.py: contact-sheet timecodes add back the mid-slice seek (#352)
