What's new in Kiosk Satellite v0.29.1-beta
Crash recovery for every kiosk. Kiosk Satellite can now bring itself back after a whole-process native crash regardless of your voice settings. Previously the crash self-heal was only armed while "Keep listening in the background" was enabled, so kiosks that never used background listening (the default) fell to the launcher and stayed there when Android's WebView took the process down, as reported on a Fire HD 10 where a Fire OS bug in the audio timestamp path aborts the app overnight (#94).
The self-heal is now armed whenever the kiosk is on screen: a lightweight guard service relaunches the dashboard within seconds of a crash, backed by a heartbeat that recovers the kiosk even on devices that are slow to restart services, such as Fire tablets. Recovery respects the existing "Auto-reload on error" toggle, never interrupts an app you deliberately switched to, and requires the "Display over other apps" permission on Android 10 and newer, which the setup wizard already requests and both settings UIs surface when missing.
