- Updates installed remotely could leave the app closed: on Android 10+ the post-update relaunch needs the "Display over other apps" permission, and without it Android silently blocks the app from reopening itself. The gap is now surfaced everywhere an update can be started: the update dialog on the device warns before you confirm, the remote admin's Updates card shows the missing permission with a Grant on device button, and the app log records a warning at install time. Granting the permission (Settings, Browser, Auto-reload on error, or the remote admin's Browser tab) restores the automatic relaunch after every update.
