What's new in Kiosk Satellite v0.14.0-beta
Remote management round: a full File Manager in the remote admin, quicker dashboard actions, and an honest RAM sensor.
New Features
- File Manager in the remote admin: Lets you browse the device's folders, download files to your computer, upload files to the device, and delete files, with folder navigation and file sizes throughout. Two locations are offered: the device's shared storage, which needs the "All files access" grant (a settings screen on the device, requested straight from the tab with a button), and the app's own folder, which always works. All paths are validated server-side so the endpoints cannot reach outside their roots.
- Dismiss screensaver and Restart app on the remote dashboard. Two new action buttons next to Exit app: one dismisses the screensaver remotely, the other kills and relaunches the whole app, the clean-slate recovery for anything a page reload cannot fix.
- Restart App MQTT button: Allows you to restart Kiosk Satellite from Home Assistant. Requires "Display over other apps" permission.
