What's new in Kiosk Satellite 2026.9.96
Kiosk Alarms now can be added and managed using Voice Satellite. Ask your kiosk to wake you up, list your alarms or turn one off, in any language your Home Assistant conversation agent understands.
New Feature: Voice Alarms
- Set alarms by talking to your kiosk. "Wake me up at 6:30 on weekdays", "set an alarm called Gym for 7 tomorrow", "what alarms do I have?", "turn off the Gym alarm" or "delete my 6:30 alarm". The assistant confirms what the kiosk did and when the alarm rings next.
- Any language, no setup per language. An LLM conversation agent (Qwen, Gemma, OpenAI, Gemini, Claude or any other that controls Home Assistant) understands the request, so there are no sentences to write for each language.
- One blueprint, no extra integrations. Import the new Kiosk Satellite alarms script blueprint, create a script from it and expose the script to Assist. Nothing depends on the LLM Tools integration, and no new ESPHome entities are added.
- Alarms are kiosk specific The alarm goes to the kiosk you are talking to. A request typed into Home Assistant's chat can name a kiosk instead, like "set an alarm on the bedroom kiosk".
- What it needs. An LLM conversation agent, since the built-in Home Assistant agent cannot fill in the alarm's time and days. An LLM agent with Prefer handling commands locally works fine. The kiosk also needs a token from an administrator under Settings, Home Assistant.
