What's new in Kiosk Satellite 2026.9.90
This release makes the Voice Satellite skin picker show what each skin really looks like, on the device and now in the remote admin too. It also fixes Log in automatically, which could not sign the dashboard out or switch it back to the token's user.
Improvements
- The skin picker shows real screenshots. The thumbnails were drawn from each skin's parts and looked little like the overlay itself. They are now screenshots of every skin answering on a tablet, in its light palette where it has one. The Skin row shows only the skin's name.
- Skin picker in the remote admin. The remote admin's Skin row now opens the same grid of screenshots instead of a dropdown.
Fixes
- Turning off Log in automatically signs the dashboard out. The dashboard reloaded still signed in as the token's user, and Home Assistant's own Log out showed Log out failed because the kiosk's session has no refresh token to revoke. With the switch off, the kiosk now removes that session and the dashboard shows the Home Assistant login page, so you can sign in by hand as another user. A login done by hand stays.
- Turning Log in automatically back on signs in as the token's user. The dashboard stayed on the login page or kept a login done by hand. It now reloads the start page signed in with the token and signs the other session out in Home Assistant.
- Voice Satellite pages space their cards like the rest of the app. The Voice Satellite page, the Wake Word page and the Custom Models group sat their cards twice as far apart as any other page. The Intercom page had the same extra gap.
