What's new in Kiosk Satellite 2026.9.74
This release adds Weather Mood, a screensaver with animated skies that follow your Home Assistant weather entity. It also adds scene previews, refines the full screen intercom list and fixes the fallback for unsupported device languages.
New Feature: Weather Mood Screensaver
- Weather Mood screensaver. Turn your kiosk into an animated sky with clear, cloudy, rainy, snowy, foggy and stormy scenes covering all Home Assistant weather conditions. Day and night follow
sun.sun, with local time as a fallback. Choose a weather entity and control lightning flashes from Settings or Remote Admin. All corner widgets and At a Glance pills work with the new mode, so you can add the weather widget for current conditions and temperature. Rendering adjusts to slower devices while keeping the sun and moon smooth.
Improvements
- A cleaner full screen intercom list. Rounded rows use one call icon per kiosk with consistent spacing and larger status text. Smaller headings and a more compact Announce to all button keep the list in focus. Long names can wrap and unavailable kiosks keep their status readable.
Fixes
- Unsupported device languages fall back to English. A device set to a language the app does not support now uses English instead of selecting German from the translation catalogs.
