What's new in Kiosk Satellite 2026.9.64
This release adds custom Voice Satellite chimes, enlarges floating timers and fixes overlapping timer alerts.
New Feature: Custom Voice Satellite chimes
- Choose wake, done, error, timer and announcement sounds under Voice Satellite > Chimes. Upload custom files from the kiosk or Remote Admin, preview them and switch back to the bundled sounds anytime.
- Each sound has its selector, preview control and upload button in one compact row. Settings and controls include English and Spanish text.
Improvements: Floating timers
- Timer pills are 20% larger, with larger text, icons and spacing for easier reading. Saved positions are preserved. (#612)
Bug Fixes
- Long timer sounds finish before repeating. Native alerts wait for playback to finish and stop when muted or dismissed.
- Custom chime timing. Kiosk reports selected sound durations to Voice Satellite so longer wake sounds keep the microphone muted until playback finishes. Requires Voice Satellite 2026.9.11 or later.
