What's New in Kiosk Satellite 2026.9.35
This release lets you choose which kiosk entities appear in Home Assistant via ESPHome, turns microphone noise suppression off by default and fixes Now Playing for Music Assistant external sources.
New Feature: ESPHome Entity Exclusions
- Excluded Entities: A new row under Settings > ESPHome opens a searchable picker in the app and Remote Admin. Each entity shows its Home Assistant category before its type. Search by name, category or type and use Select all or Clear to make bulk changes. All available entities stay exposed unless you exclude them. Saving reconnects ESPHome to apply the list and exclusions persist across restarts.

- Microphone Noise Suppression Defaults to Off: Upgrading turns noise suppression off once, including for users who already enabled it. You can turn it back on in Screen & Audio > Microphone settings and that choice persists across restarts.
Fixed
- Now Playing for Music Assistant External Sources: The floating player and Now Playing show track metadata when sources such as Spotify Connect play without an active Music Assistant queue. Track changes and playback state follow player events. Queue controls return when playback switches back to a Music Assistant queue. Fixes #487.
