What's New in Kiosk Satellite 2026.9.31
This release adds control over detection snapshots, organizes Camera settings and fixes a screensaver issue after dashboard reloads.
New Feature: Disable Detection Snapshots
- Disable Snapshots on Detection: A new switch under Camera prevents automatic detection snapshots while keeping motion, face, presence and gesture detection working. It also skips pending detection snapshots and withholds images from detection captures still in progress when enabled. Manual requests and continuous snapshots remain available. The switch is off by default.
Fixed
- The Screensaver Recovers After a Dashboard Reload: A dashboard could report an active media interaction and reload without ending it, leaving the screensaver paused indefinitely. Dashboard navigation and WebView replacement now release the old page’s interactions so the screensaver can resume. Native playback and remote pauses keep their own holds until they end. Fixes #271.
