What's New in Kiosk Satellite 2026.9.24
This release fixes camera motion and face detection going dead after the Restart app button and after a Home press on a kiosk set as the home app.
Fixed
- Motion and Face Detection Dead After a Restart or a Home Press: The app's screen can be re-created while the app itself keeps running. The Restart app button relaunched the kiosk twice a few seconds apart, and on a kiosk set as the home app the Home button opened a second copy of the screen over the running one. Either way the camera session went with the old screen and the app never noticed, so Dismiss on motion, Dismiss on face, the Motion sensor and the hand gestures stayed dead until a related setting was toggled off and on. The camera now reports the loss and is bound again the moment the new screen is up.
- Restart App Launches the Kiosk Once: A deliberate restart no longer schedules a second relaunch behind the one that already brought the kiosk back.
