What's new in Kiosk Satellite 2026.9.19
One quality of life improvement: with several kiosks on one network, the remote admin now lists them and switches between them in the same browser tab. The device name under the KS logo becomes a dropdown once another kiosk is heard in the network.
New feature: Kiosk switcher in the Remote Admin
- Every kiosk with its remote admin on announces itself on the network over mDNS and hears the others, and the device name under the logo, in the rail and in the phone top bar, becomes a dropdown once another kiosk is heard. It opens Switch kiosk, this device first with a tag, then the others by name with their address and version.
- Picking one opens that kiosk's remote admin in the same tab on the page you were on, a second-level page it does not have landing on its parent tab.
- The list follows the network while it is open, so a kiosk that boots shows up without reopening. A Find other kiosks switch on the Remote Administration page, on by default, turns the announcing and listening off.
