What's new in Kiosk Satellite 2026.9.18
Sonos playing a Spotify Connect or AirPlay session now show skip buttons in the controls area. The queue button is now hidden when there's no queue available.
Fixed
- A Sonos playing a Spotify Connect or AirPlay session shows its skip buttons again. The speaker plays an app's session as a virtual line-in, outside its own queue, and the change that took the skips off a station took them off the session with it, though the speaker passes next and previous on to the app the way the Sonos app's own buttons do. The session keeps both.
- The queue toggle and the heart leave the Now Playing view while a Sonos plays outside its queue. For a Spotify Connect or AirPlay session the app holds the queue and the speaker cannot list it, and My Sonos cannot keep a session. For a station or a TV or line-in input the panel could only say nothing is queued. The toggle comes back with the queue, the way a source without one already leaves its slot blank so the transport stays centered.
