- Playing music on the device (the Sendspin player, or a media player in the page) paused dashboard view rotation and the return to home timer for exactly 3 minutes, then let them run again mid-song: the app treated playback like a voice turn, and the safety ceiling that releases a lost voice turn released it too. Every play after a pause started another 3 minute stall. Media playback no longer touches rotation or the return to home timer; the screensaver still stands down while audio is audible, and Hold mode remains the way to pin a view for the length of the music.
