What's new in Kiosk Satellite 2026.10.31
A small follow-up to the previous release, which brought the new Community Plugins Directory. This release redesigns the review you see before installing a plugin, so it is easier to read on the kiosk and in the remote admin.
Improvements
- Redesigned plugin review. The review that Add plugin, Browse plugins and install links from kiosksatellite.com open now has a header with the plugin's icon, name and author, and chips for its version, license and whether it is listed in Community Plugins. An update shows the installed and new version on one chip.
- More room for the README. The README sits under its own label and scrolls on its own. The review is larger, up to 960 wide and 88% of the window's height in the remote admin. On a phone, the header scrolls away with the README.
- Trust notice in the footer. The trust notice now sits in a footer above the buttons. If a plugin can't run on the device, the reason shows there too, and the install button stays off.
