What's new in Kiosk Satellite 2026.10.2
This is a security update. Some secrets were written to the app log in plain text, so a log shared in a public issue could expose them. Updating is recommended for every kiosk. If you have posted an app log publicly, rotate the credentials configured on that kiosk.
Fixes
- Secrets no longer leak into the app log. Some sensitive values were written to the app log as plain text. They now show as
<redacted>. - The remote admin's wake word dropdowns show new custom models without a page reload. After you added or deleted a custom wake word model in the remote admin, Wake word 1 and 2 kept the old list until you reloaded the page (#801). They now update as soon as Home Assistant has the new list. The device's own settings also update right away instead of on their next 10 second refresh.
