Batman: Arkham City in PC VR. What's new since 0.1:
- Quitting to the main menu: the screen stays black while the game loads, then the bats sweep in with their sound and reveal Batman on the gargoyle.
- Loading screens: no more opening-logo pictures in front of them, the screen hangs a little further away (2.5 m), and the upscaled pictures can be switched on and off in the VR menu (Menus and screens).
- HUD: the glow under "LEVEL UP" now stays with its text.
- First-person view: the camera now follows Batman's head, so it no longer passes through it when gliding; first person turns itself off on the main menu, in menus and on loading screens.
- VR menu: a new Stereo rendering section to choose Native or AFW, and a more solid background.
- Installer: also installs the tested VR resolution and the bat transition used by the menus; the uninstaller now also deletes the mod's own VR settings and logs.
Download size: about 290 MB, mostly the AI-upscaled loading-screen pictures (about 225 MB) and NVIDIA's DLSS library (about 60 MB).
Install: start the game once from Steam (to the main menu), unpack BatmanCityVR-ArkhamCity.zip, run Install-BatmanCityVR.bat, then start the game with the Batman City VR shortcut. Updating from 0.1: run the new installer over it; your VR settings are kept. Details and troubleshooting: README.
