- Playback speed: a slider and −/+ buttons in steps of 0.01, a Preserve pitch switch that, turned off, lets the pitch follow the speed like a record, and the resulting BPM when the song has one (#277).

- Casting (#285):
- If the speaker or TV stops responding for 30 seconds, playback returns to the phone, paused. The same happens if another app takes it over.
- The queue no longer gets stuck at the end of a song.
- The player no longer shows the wrong song after waking the phone.
- A song stopped from the TV's remote shows as paused and resumes where it was.
- Lyrics no longer flash black when closed over the blurred cover (Android).
- Opening the app no longer counts a listen of the song it was left on, and skipping ahead in a song no longer counts as listening to it.
- When the connection drops and a song can't load, Play no longer pretends to play it, and the song picks up where it stopped once the connection is back.
- A server that stops answering halfway no longer leaves a screen loading forever: it gives up after 15 seconds.
- Connection errors from Navidrome and Subsonic servers are shown in your language.
- A mix keeps growing after a moment without connection instead of stopping for good, and starting one on a song that can't load no longer turns the previous queue into a mix.
- The sleep timer now stops playback on any speaker or TV you cast to, also with the screen off.
- Offline, Next says when nothing ahead is downloaded instead of doing nothing.
- A cover on screen no longer turns into the placeholder when the app goes offline.
- "Download over Wi-Fi only" now stops a download that is running when the Wi-Fi drops, instead of carrying on over mobile data.
- Cover art no longer passes your server login to other apps that read what is playing (lock screen widgets, watches, the car). On Android Automotive the covers in the browse lists show up again.
- A tapped song no longer waits behind preloading and cover downloads on servers that fetch each track first (#269).
- Dates on the History screen now follow the app language.
- Pulling to refresh on the Library's All tab now also updates podcasts.
- Android Auto now updates a list that is already open when the library finishes loading.
- Albums in Android Auto no longer open empty when they are beyond the first 40 loaded.
- Android Auto no longer crashes on a queue with the same song twice, and shows what is playing when it connects after playback started.
- On iOS, tapping the song on the lock screen now opens the app.
- The screen shown when something crashes is now in your language instead of always in Spanish.
