Beta for testing via BRAT. This is not in the community plugin store.
⚠️ Requires Obsidian 1.13.0 or newer
Like 0.6.0-beta.1, this beta uses Obsidian's native settings API, which only exists in 1.13+. On an older Obsidian the settings page will be empty. If you're on an older version, stay on 0.5.13.
What's new since beta.2
- Dragging buttons on the right ribbon now saves the new order. It sticks after a reload and matches the Right Ribbon settings page.
Also in this beta (since beta.1)
The right ribbon is back (#215)
- Put commands on a ribbon on the right edge of the window, like Obsidian had before the right ribbon was removed. Add them from the new Right Ribbon page in Commander's settings.
- It's Obsidian's own ribbon, not a copy. Obsidian still builds the right ribbon but keeps it hidden; Commander turns it back on and adds buttons through Obsidian's own ribbon code. Buttons look and behave like the left ribbon's, and themes that style the ribbon apply to both.
- It only appears once you've added a command to it, and it follows Obsidian's Show ribbon setting.
- On macOS the right sidebar toggle moves into the ribbon's top corner, mirroring the left side.
- Desktop only. Obsidian doesn't have a right ribbon on mobile, so the page is hidden there.
Everything from 0.6.0-beta.1 (the rebuilt settings screen) is included.
Known limitations
- Windows and Linux haven't been tested yet. The top-right corner is tuned for macOS, so there may be a small gap there.
What to try
- Add, rename, recolor, reorder and delete commands on the Right Ribbon page, and check the ribbon updates.
- Drag buttons on the right ribbon, reload, and check the order sticks.
- Reload Obsidian and check the ribbon and its buttons come back.
- Open and close the right sidebar, and turn Show ribbon off and on.
- On Windows or Linux, send a screenshot of the top-right corner.
