What's Changed
A patch release: ScopedTheme now reaches components that re-render or mount later, deeply nested style arrays work again, and iOS builds with use_frameworks! are fixed.
🎨 Themes and styles
ScopedThemenow applies to components that re-render on their own (local state, a press, a hover) or mount after the scope rendered (lists filled aftersetState, FlashList cells, late children). Before, they fell back to the global theme. This coversStyleSheet.createstyles,useUnistyles()anduseAnimatedThemeon both native and web (#1288, closes #955)- Styles nested deeper than three levels in a style array are fully flattened. Before, a trailing
undefinedat that depth could crash at mount, and styles 5+ levels deep were dropped after a theme change or a freeze/unfreeze (#1287 by @cpruijsen, closes #1285)
🛠 Build and compatibility
- Fixed the iOS build with
use_frameworks!('react/renderer/components/text/TextProps.h' file not found), which had been failing since 3.5.0. The podspec now depends onReact-FabricComponents(#1289, closes #1286)
