KisakCOD VR v0.10.0-beta.7 publishes the tested V56 build with a portable graphical VR configurator and much broader customization.
VR Configurator
- The complete ZIP now includes
KisakCOD-VR-Configurator.exebeside the normal launchers. - Choose Tested Quest 3, Performance, Comfort Snap, Smooth Turn, Seated, or Minimal HUD, or customize individual settings.
- Configure snap/smooth turning, movement direction, graphics, HUD and game text, compass size/direction/placement, weapon and hand fit, belt and grenade calibration, manual or automatic reload, physical scope alignment, and supported face-button roles.
- Visual previews cover HUD placement and controller-local weapon, hand, belt, and binding changes.
- Settings are validated before saving. Save & Launch and one-run diagnostic launch are available from the app.
- Personal profiles live separately under LocalAppData, are backed up automatically, and can be imported or exported, so future package updates preserve them.
Runtime customization
- Snap angle, smooth-turn speed, turn and movement deadzones, and head/body/left-hand-relative movement are configurable.
- Compass visibility, size, rotating/north-fixed direction, inset, mission-text placement, crosshair, subtitles, camera shake, and weapon bob are configurable.
- Right-weapon and left-hand position/rotation, tracking response, two-hand strength, belt geometry, reload insertion radius, grenade throw behavior, and scope placement/quality are configurable.
- Physical magazine reloading can be disabled to use COD4's native automatic reload behavior.
- Supported Quest face-button roles can be reassigned; pose-sensitive trigger, grip, stick-axis, and menu inputs remain fixed.
Installation
- Download
KisakCOD-VR-v0.10.0-beta.7.zip. - Extract every file beside the original 2007 COD4
iw3sp.exe. - If upgrading after hand-editing an older
VR-Settings.bat, keep a copy so it can be imported. - Run
KisakCOD-VR-Configurator.exe, choose a preset, and click Save & Launch.
The ZIP is a complete package; no earlier beta is required. The normal batch launcher remains available and uses the last saved profile.
Retained beta.6 features
Physical hip-drawn grenades, the standard Mission Select unlock, snap-turn latch fix, physical magazine handling, tracked hands, scopes, and the playable single-player campaign path are retained.
Known limitation
Death From Above remains unsupported even though it appears unlocked. Do not select it. Open the console and run /spmap bog_b to continue with War Pig.
Primary tested setup: Meta Quest 3, Virtual Desktop OpenXR, and NVIDIA RTX 3080 Ti. Other runtimes and controller profiles remain experimental.
