NavbarCard v1.7.2

This release fixes two layout bugs: one with the native Home Assistant footer and one with using more than one navbar-card on the same view. It also moves the docs to a completely new site.

No more overlaps with the Home Assistant footer

navbar-card now supports Home Assistant's native Sections footer, both when placed inside the footer and when used alongside a separate footer card.

Multiple navbar-cards on the same view

Auto padding now works when a view has more than one navbar-card. Before, the last card loaded would overwrite the padding set by the others (#329). Padding is now calculated from all the cards together, and hidden cards no longer reserve any space.

All changes in this release

  • Auto padding now works with multiple navbar-cards on the same view. Hidden navbar-card instances no longer reserve padding. (closes #329)
  • Prevent overlaps with the native HA footer section, both when navbar-card is the footer card and when another card is the footer. (closes #344)
  • Auto padding is no longer applied in edit mode.
  • Fixed box shadow not being applied on mobile in docked mode on Home Assistant ≥ 2026.10.2.
  • navbar-card placed at the bottom is now properly centered when another navbar-card adds side padding.
  • Major overhaul of the docs site, now built with MkDocs Material.
