Some of you had to roll back to v1.6.1 because of the mobile navbar positioning issue in v1.7.0 (#339). Sorry about that 🙁
This release restores the old positioning by default, so the navbar once again sits flush with the bottom of the screen. The Android safe-area fix from v1.7.0 is still available, but you can now choose whether to enable it.
New mobile.safe_area option
Safe-area spacing is now disabled by default. To enable it, add:
mobile:
safe_area: true- Docked mode: adds bottom padding so the background reaches the screen edge while keeping icons clear of the gesture bar.
- Floating mode: adds a bottom margin.
If you enabled v1.7.0 specifically to fix the Android navigation overlap (#324), set mobile.safe_area: true to keep that fix. Otherwise, there's nothing you need to change.
All changes in this release
- New
mobile.safe_areaoption (defaultfalse) to avoid overlaps with the native gesture bar. (closes #339)
