It's been a while, but navbar-card is back! Thanks for your patience ❤️
This release fixes several regressions introduced by newer Home Assistant versions, along with badge icons, an Android Companion fix, and some performance and editor improvements.
Huge thanks to everyone who reported issues and contributed with PRs: @Nicxe, @mgoh99, and @davidcoulson!
Badge icons
Badges can now show an icon instead of a counter. Use icon and icon_color in the badge config of any route, and both still support JS templates.
badge:
show: true
icon: mdi:cloud-off-outline
icon_color: white
color: red
Quickbar working again on Home Assistant 2026.6+
The quickbar action stopped opening the quick bar after Home Assistant changed how it handles keyboard shortcuts. It now works again, and it still falls back to the old behaviour on older versions.
Android Companion app
Fixed the bottom navbar overlapping Android's system navigation bar following the Companion app's edge-to-edge changes.
Visual editor fixes
Fixed missing or broken configuration fields on Home Assistant 2026.5+ by migrating editor controls to ha-selector. Also fixed an issue preventing the last configured media player from being removed.
