Hotfix after v2026.08.08.2 — two silent failures found by fixing the tests that had been red for them. Both were reported by the suite as flakiness and were neither: the share did nothing at all, and the confirmation for it arrived up to fourteen seconds late.
Dashboard
- fix Share from the right-click menu reaches the clipboard again —
resolveRowBookmark()went through the loader proxy's generic path, which answers with a Promise until the module is fetched. Callers readref.bookmarkstraight away, gotundefined, and did nothing, so a share never fell through to its clipboard copy. Answered synchronously on the stub now, the waycanOpenShareSheet()andshareActionLabel()already were after v2026.08.07.1 (dashboard-bookmark-interactions-loader.js). - fix A confirmation no longer waits behind the Shift+B promo — that tip runs for fourteen seconds and held the single toast host for all of it, so a confirmation raised while it was up sat in the queue and appeared long after the action it confirmed. A non-promo notification now takes the slot instead of queueing (
app-notification.js).
Testing
- fix The What's new modal no longer reopens mid-test — closing it did not record the release as seen, so on any release the browser had not seen (every cache-token bump) it reopened a second or two later and marked the grid
inert, leaving rows unclickable. The shared helper marks it seen when dismissing; the check-mode setup also re-runs the overlay teardown after its reload (e2e-helpers.js,dashboard-check-mode-menu.spec.js).
