Hotfix after v2026.08.08 — two corrections to the What's new modal itself. Note that this release ships no What's new entry of its own: the modal and the Config → Overview carousel still describe v2026.08.08.

- fix Check for updates removed from the What's new modal — the modal is for reading release notes; the daily check runs on its own and Config → Overview keeps the manual trigger. The status bar stays, so an available release is still reported there with its GitHub link and Dismiss (
whats-new-modal.js,modal.css, tests). - fix Release summary and Ko-fi block stack again — side by side the summary was squeezed into half the width while the shorter Ko-fi block left dead space beside it. One column at every width, not only below 42rem (
modal.css).
