Adding a bookmark can now set up monitoring, and the health view says at a glance whether anything is down. The add-bookmark modal still offered a single Status check box, which could not express the three-way choice the rest of the app had moved to — so the one moment you are most likely to want monitoring was the one place you could not switch it on.
Add bookmark
- new Availability checking while you add — the modal carries the same Off / Periodic / Monitor control as the bookmark editor in Config, with the interval picker and the same explanation behind the (i). It sits above the More options fold, next to Shortcut, with Pinned moved up alongside them as the same pin pill the inline editor uses. All three were previously below the fold or, in Monitor's case, absent entirely.
- fix The explanation opened behind the form that asked for it — every overlay in the app sits on the same stacking layer, and a tie is settled by which was created first, so the (i) popup appeared underneath the modal. It now opens in front.
- fix The modal cut its own form in half — a height cap left the fields between Tags and More options below the visible edge, reachable only by scrolling to something you had no reason to know was there.
Health view
- new A Monitored summary tile that shows at a glance whether anything is down — added to the tile row directly after Healthy, because it answers the same question those two do (is anything wrong right now) where Broken, Duplicates and Unchecked are backlogs to work through. Its colour is a live reading rather than a fixed category: the whole tile turns red — border, background and label — the moment a monitored bookmark stops responding, and reads green while they all answer. Hovering names the split (1 of 3 not responding), and clicking goes straight to the monitored list and is remembered like any other filter choice. A monitor still waiting for its first check counts as neither: unknown is not failing, and reddening the tile for it would cry wolf on every monitor you switch on.
- fix A count of zero no longer reads as a pass — the Healthy tile was coloured green even at
0, so a dashboard with nothing healthy looked as reassuring as one with everything healthy. Zero now reads as plain text on every tile, the way the problem tiles already did.
Under the hood
- The availability control's markup and styling now have one home shared by the config panel, the dashboard's inline editor and the add-bookmark modal, rather than a copy per surface. The same goes for the (i) explanation, which existed in three places and now exists in one — the wording can no longer drift between the screens that offer the same choice.
