Config Tab Consistency (v1–v4) — shared shell primitives across config tabs; unified save status and per-tab save-mode labels; classic fused surface cards; breadcrumb context; Bookmarks Context panel with persisted open state; intro spacing and button-clipping fixes; phone card for #bookmarks deep links; config header aligned with dashboard chrome; Playwright regression coverage; Help tab and MANUAL.md aligned in EN/NL/DE/FR.

Config layout (v1 & v4)

• new Shared tab shell — config-tab-shell.css introduces reusable .config-tab-intro, .config-tab-toolbar, .config-filter-field, .config-empty-state, and .config-tab-surface primitives. List tabs (Pages, Categories, Tags, Finders, Collections) share the same intro copy pattern, toolbar alignment, filter styling, and empty-state layout.
• new Semantic intros on remaining tabs — Backups, Stats, Theme (#colors), and Keyboard adopt the shared intro pattern; Bookmarks, Stats, and Finders toolbars align to shell toolbar classes; Collections i18n and unified + Add labels complete v2 rollout.
• fix Classic fused surface cards (v4) — on body[data-layout-version="classic"], list tabs wrap toolbar + list in one .config-tab-surface card (config-classic-surfaces.css) with shared radius, border, and shadow tokens (--config-surface-list, --config-surface-toolbar, --config-surface-radius).
• fix Intro → content spacing — flex column + gap: var(--config-tab-gap) on the General tab wrapper, Bookmarks intro moved outside bookmarks-tab-workspace, and a high-specificity shell rule so intro paragraphs keep consistent whitespace before toolbars and panels on General, Bookmarks, and list tabs.
• fix Clipped toolbar buttons — #config-main * now uses border-box instead of inheriting content-box from body, so right-edge padding on tab toolbars and action buttons is no longer clipped by overflow-hidden surfaces.
• fix Structure workspace list border — right border on Context panel list items no longer clips on classic surfaces.
• fix Config header chrome — top row matches the dashboard header-top container width and link styling; configuration title is larger; health and back to dashboard links stay top-aligned on the right; extra whitespace separates the header from the save row so the page no longer jumps when switching from the dashboard.

Config save UX (v2 & v2b)

• fix Unified save status line — retired #unsaved-indicator badge; one #save-status-indicator beside Save shows dirty/saved/syncing state. Sticky save bar (body.config-sticky-save-visible) stays in sync when scrolling.
• new Per-tab save mode pill — #config-tab-save-mode in the breadcrumb row shows Requires save, Auto-save, Read-only, or Save colors depending on the active tab (General/Bookmarks vs Categories/Pages vs Stats vs Theme).
• fix Empty-state CTAs — Tags empty state links to Bookmarks to add a tagged bookmark; Collections empty state opens the edit panel for a new collection.

Config navigation (v3)

• new Breadcrumb context — #config-breadcrumb shows sub-context on Bookmarks (active page + category) and Categories (active page); Colors subtab context was already supported and remains.
• fix Bookmarks Context panel (Route A) — renamed Structure workspace to Context: compact page/category switcher for the bookmark list below. Removed duplicate + Page / + Category actions; footnote links to Pages and Categories tabs for reorder, archive, templates, icons, and merge.
• fix Context panel persistence — collapsed/expanded state stored in localStorage (nextdash-config-structure-workspace-v1) and restored on tab switch and after renderConfig.
• fix Phone #bookmarks deep link — on ≤768px, /config#bookmarks shows .config-phone-block-card (desktop-only message + back to dashboard) instead of a broken split-view; #bookmarks hash routing still works on desktop.

Developer & docs

• new Playwright: config tab consistency — tests/config-tab-consistency.spec.js covers empty-state CTAs, save status line, sticky bar sync, save-mode pills, classic surface box model, breadcrumb context, phone block, intro spacing (General, Bookmarks vs Categories), and Context panel default/persistence.
• fix Help tab (EN / NL / DE / FR) — What's new recap adds v2026.06.31 at the top; Config → General, Manage bookmarks, and Phone vs desktop sections document tab shell, breadcrumb save-mode pill, unified save status, Context panel (replacing Structure), phone #bookmarks card, and updated Bookmarks guided-tour copy.
• fix MANUAL.md — §16 expanded with Config → Help, list-tab shell, save UX pills, Classic vs Modern/Glass surfaces; archive restore via Pages/Context; troubleshooting no longer references the retired unsaved badge.
• fix Release docs — README, CHANGELOG, What's new (v2026.06.31.json), and MANUAL updated for v2026.06.31 (no new dashboard release token).

Cache-bust

• fix Cache-bust — whats-new-v105 data version and 2026.06-dashboard-release-v84 dashboard release token; config-intro-spacing-1 on config.css / config-general.css / config-tab-shell.css; prior config-tab-consistency-4, config-box-model-1, config-chrome-align-1, and bookmarks-list-surface-1 bundles retained on per-tab CSS.
