The install count is announced once in the corner, and says when an install runs on Unraid. Held back from the What's new window (hideFromModal) like v1.17.3 and v1.17.1, so v1.17.2 keeps leading it.
Privacy
- new — a corner card announces the install count. The count is on by default, so the card says once what leaves the server (a random id and the version) and offers Turn it off next to Fine by me; closing it counts as an answer and it does not come back. It is not shown when the count is already off or when
DISABLE_TELEMETRYlocks it off (install-count-notice.js,tests/install-count-notice.spec.js). - new — the ping says when it runs on Unraid. Unraid sets
HOST_OS=Unraidon every container it starts; when that is present the ping adds the wordunraidas the page title, so the project can tell how many installs run there. Other installs send nothing extra. The setting's hint and explanation, the card, Config → Help and the manual say so, in all six languages (install_ping.go).
