AerioTV 0.5.13
Radio Channels
- The Dispatcharr radio flag is read on every backend: declared radio channels start as audio at once and open Radio Mode.
- Dispatcharr admins can Mark as Radio Channel or Unmark as Radio Channel from the channel long-press menu, and the change takes effect without a relaunch.
Radio Mode
- Radio Mode by Default (Settings > Player) opens every channel in Radio Mode. It has its own Sync row, off by default, and Watch in the long-press menu plays video. Requested by Glitzbr.
- Audio-only channels start fast, join at 3x the target duration, and learn their hold-back, which now grows during the session up to 32 s.
- Live channels adopt a server HLS answer, so Dispatcharr HLS output mode no longer fails every tune.
- Radio Mode shows Channel Unavailable and clears it on recovery, and Play/Pause is disabled while the channel is unavailable.
- The Radio Mode card shares its row with the Cast button.
Android TV
- Back twice stops Radio Mode; the first Back waits for the double-press window.
- Back and Hold Back are mappable guide keys, and one press holds one action.
- Radio Mode keeps guide focus on the chosen cell and restores it when Radio Mode stops.
- Watch is in the TV channel long-press menu whenever a pick would open Radio Mode.
- Multiview started from the staging banner keeps focus on the tiles (#138). Thanks FastGriz.
- A first tune into the mini player composes at its final size.
Phones, Tablets, and TV
- Back that would leave the app asks "Exit AerioTV?" on phone, tablet, and TV.
Guide
- Programs that ended inside the 5-minute lead are not drawn.
- List view Back scrolls to the top.
Fixes
- Dispatcharr re-login is gated to one attempt per minute and honors 429 responses.
- Editing a playlist URL invalidates the auth and host-bound state.
- The mini player close X has a larger hit target.
Installing
- GitHub build: the app updates itself. Open Settings and check for updates, or wait for the prompt on the next launch.
- Play Store build: it arrives through the Play Store as a normal update. The Play build has no in-app updater.
- Switching between the two builds means uninstalling the other one first, because they are signed differently.
