AerioTV 0.4.22
Features and fixes for Android phones, tablets, and Android TV.
New
- Time Format. Settings > Appearance > Time Format switches every clock in the app between System, 12-hour and 24-hour: the guide header and cell times, program info, search, the channel list and recordings. Synced across your devices.
- Show Program Subtitles. A new Appearance > Channel List toggle hides the episode or match name under each program title, for EPG feeds that repeat the description there.
Fixed
- Match Content Resolution: no more frozen picture. After the display switches resolution, the video surface is re-attached once the TV has settled, so the first channel after a UHD or HD change no longer freezes on the last frame (reported on NVIDIA Shield). The output refresh rate now follows the content as well: 50 fps channels play at 50 Hz instead of a 3:2 cadence on a 60 Hz mode. With the setting off, nothing changes.
- The Show Channel Logos, Numbers and Names toggles work again in the rebuilt guide; each element is skipped when off and the rest re-center.
- The player's channel list (Left while watching) opens with focus on the channel you are watching, Right closes it without changing channel, and backing out to the guide lands on the channel still playing in the mini player.
- The guide's focus lane follows the visible rows, so the mini player's taller header no longer pushes the focused row below the screen.
- TV guide group pills switch with a single press and the focus highlight follows the pill's rounded shape.
