Fix: audio and video out of sync on live TV
- Some TVs decode Dolby (AC3) audio sent as a bitstream with a delay that Android cannot see or correct, so voices drifted out of sync with lips on every Dolby channel. AerioTV now decodes Dolby audio itself by default and sends plain PCM to your TV, which keeps audio and video locked together.
- If you use a receiver or soundbar and want untouched Dolby passthrough instead, turn it back on under Settings > App Behaviors > Audio > Dolby passthrough. The change takes effect on the next playback.
Updater note: if you installed 0.2.4 or newer from GitHub, AerioTV will offer this update automatically, or check manually in Settings > App Updates. Your channels, settings, and recordings are kept.
Play Store note: if you installed AerioTV from Google Play, uninstall it before sideloading this APK. Play builds are signed with a different key, so Android will refuse to install this APK over a Play install (and a Play update over a sideloaded install). Uninstalling clears local data; if Google Drive sync is enabled, your playlists and settings restore on next sign-in.
