- Xtream Codes is now a supported source. Add your server with an Xtream username and password under Add Playlist to get live TV, EPG, and On Demand movies and series.
Fixed
- Android TV / Google TV: the app is installable from Google Play again. A location permission added for home-WiFi detection had made Play treat the app as phone-only and drop it from the Android TV catalog; TV devices are now offered the app correctly.
- Dispatcharr setup now accepts either an admin API key OR a username and password. It no longer demands both.
- Android TV: opening a row in Settings no longer bounces you back to the guide. Sub-screens open and stay put, and backing out returns focus to the list.
- Android TV On Demand now reliably loads both Movies and Series. On large libraries one tab could previously stay empty.
- Android TV onboarding screens are cleaner and properly sized. Text fields and buttons no longer stretch across the whole screen.
Performance
- On Demand no longer lags or crashes on large libraries. The catalog now loads when you open the On Demand tab, off the main thread, instead of all at once during startup.
- Large EPG guides load far faster. Parsing and grouping moved off the main thread, so the app no longer freezes while the guide loads.
Install
Download AerioTV-v0.1.5.apk below and sideload it. On Android TV / Google TV, install it with a file manager. Requires Android 8.0 (API 26) or newer.
You bring your own playlist and EPG sources. Nothing is bundled.
