⚠️ Pre-release for testing
Third alpha for ecoSTER room thermostats (#256, PR #260). It also includes the ecoSTER setpoints from PR #254 and the log redaction fix from PR #257. Thanks to @fsaidl for testing v1.3.4-alpha.2.
Fixed
- Empty ecoSTER slots created extra ecoSTER N devices: the controller reports every supported slot, so an empty slot got a mode sensor plus contacts and day schedule binary sensors on its own device. ecoSTER entities are now created only for slots with a room temperature.
After updating
No reinstall is needed, and entity IDs of connected panels do not change.
- Open Settings → Devices & services → ecoNET300 → Devices and open the empty ecoSTER N device.
- Choose ⋮ → Delete. Its leftover entities are removed with it. Devices of connected panels cannot be deleted.
With the Single device setting there is no ecoSTER N device; delete the Unavailable ecoSTER entities of the empty slot from the Entities tab instead. See the Migration guide.
Install with HACS
- Enable the HACS Pre-release switch for ecoNET300 Home Assistant integration. It is disabled by default; find it under Settings → Devices & services → Entities.
- Update to v1.3.4-alpha.3, or open HACS → ecoNET300 → ⋮ → Redownload and pick
v1.3.4-alpha.3. - Restart Home Assistant.
To go back, use Redownload and pick v1.3.3, then turn the Pre-release switch off.
